If we conceive the work as a practice whose existence is placed within a social and normative framework of recognition, how is it possible to rethink the relationship between labor and work?
Rahel Jaeggi is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Berlin. Exponent of the last generation of the Frankfurt School, she has worked in the field of social philosophy, with particular reference to the criticism of alienation in Marxism and existentialism. More recently, she has dealt with the collective processes of cultural and social reproduction of human life. Among her books translated in Italian: Alienation (Roma 2015); Critique of Forms of Life (Torno 2016).
