What is behind the design of a successful packaging? The packaging itself becomes a form of design and promotion, as "product skin", which on the one hand announces and on the other conceals the object, according to a strategy of communication seduction.
Maurizio Vitta has been Professor of History and Culture of the Design at the Faculty of Design of the Politecnico of Milan and he also taught at the Academy of Brera. He has studied architecture and design, dealing with the multiform reality of the everyday object. Among his most recent books: Dell’abitare.
