Opening: Friday at 12,00 at Cortile delle Stele - Museo Monumento al Deportato
The exhibition goes to the roots of the design of the Museo Monumento al Deportato and shows the link that connects the experience of the lager with the artistic reworking that came to the realization of the work of the Museo Monumento with over 30 drawings by Ludovico Belgiojoso.
In the former Synagogue are shown some examples of the drawings of Aldo Carpi and Alberto Cavallari donated to the Monument Museum.
Ludovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1909–2004), One of the founding architects of the Milanese BBPR studio.
Aldo Carpi (1886-1973), Designer, teacher in the 1930s at the Accademia di Brera
Alberto Cavallari(1924-2016), Designer, between 1943 and 1945 passed through several Nazi lagers, documenting the horror in 56 drawings then donated to the Monument Museum.
The exhibition will continue until 15th October with the following opening hours:
