The intellectual movement of the Sophists is presented by tracing the framework of their role as professionals of the word in investigating the pluralities of truth.
Mauro Bonazzi teaches History of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Utrecht and the State University of Milan. He also taught at Clermont-Ferrand, Bordeaux, Lille and at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. He is a contributor to "La Lettura" of the "Corriere della Sera".
