Carlo Sini , a former professor of theoretical philosophy at the University of Milan, is a member of the Accademia dei Lincei. A scholar of American pragmatism and phenomenology, he has developed an important theoretical approach to the links between philosophy and writing, with particular reference to the Greek alphabet as a logical form of Western thought. In recent years, he has worked on an "encyclopedical" system of philosophy. Among his recent books: Filosofia ed economia (Milano 2011); La solidarietà delle pratiche (Milano 2014); Il profondo e l’espressione (Milano 2014); Il pensiero delle pratiche (Milano 2014); Reale, più-che-reale, virtuale (Milano 2014); Figure di verità (Milano 2014); Enzo Paci: Il filosofo e la vita (Milano 2015); Inizio (Milano 2016).
